well either way, i lost that list so randomly i was reminded of guitar hero(pls dun ask me why)
'i hate myself for loving you' one of the songs (believe me its better than the others i heard especially 'i wanna rock' i don't wanna listen to it, like ever!) so i typed it into YouTube. surprise surprise, Joan Jett was the one who sang it. well it was on live, and though the performance was patchy in the sense that it's clearly low budget. However it was the first i watched a live and did not cringe. Have you ever felt like going," what the heck?! what's up with the voice?" coz, it just sounds totally different without the tuner in the studio. yeah, but i'll like to note that jett sounds exactly like how she did in her older records. that's a lot considering the shit we hear in lives without the tuner. (or worse, lip syncing) She gets in touch with the audience and exudes charisma like no one else.
i even went to check on the k-pop's lives, and what can i say?
its a total waste of 300 dollars. coz they did exactly what they did in their video, so why don't the fans just go for the mv buying. Come on, if they can afford 300 dollars a pop they can afford a mv.
There was no engagement to the audience, no jokes, no Hellos, etc. What can i say, it just seems like a circus where guys just dance and pass the Mic around. the problem with k-pop, is that its too commercial,(ppl who don't understand, check the dictionary) there's no art in the process.
The first time i heard 'it's you' i love it, i swear. The second time, i like it, the third time, its okay, fourth time? IT's a gonna, bye.
If you haven't realized the trend, fan girls kept switching groups, so its like, 5years down the line, they won't remember the group anymore. The music is not timeless. whenever k-pop is involved, somehow dance will be pulled in as well. Seriously, those who talk about how fantastic their dances are, you should give yourself a good tight kick to the arse (or maybe ask your friend who hate k-pop to do it). coz if you wanna talk dance, BoA is the answer. check it out in 'i'll eat you up' Korean mv (she's Japanese) and you will understand. Now that's what i call dancer, especially the chorus part. so if you still don't understand what i'm saying, i'll summarize it for you, dearest honey :
k-pop newcomer groups like 2pm, 2am(yes that's right such a carbon copy exists, my friend) , beast , ft.island, etc(there's so many!!) all they have is a pretty face(made by plastic , no less) to bode their music. geez and don't get me started on the girls,... seriously i feel ashamed of them.
